St. John's Lutheran Church

The Season of Lent starts with Ash Wednesday Worship on Wed. February 14, at 7:30 pm.  This service includes "Imposition of Ashes" and "Our Lord's Supper."  Lenten services continue on each Wednesday.  Services will be on February 14, 21, 28 and March 6, 13, and 20. All evening Lenten services begin at 7:30 pm.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on Sunday, March 24, at 9:00 am. It includes palm waving and celebrating our Lord's Supper.  Maundy Thursday service is on March 28.  It will include celebrating our Lord's Supper and the stripping of the Altar. Good Friday Tenebrae Service takes place on March 29. It includes whispering the Lord's Prayer near the altar and then leaving in silence until we return for Easter morning.

Easter celebration will begin early on Sunday, March 31 at 6:30 am. It will include celebrating our Lord's Supper.

Easter breakfast will take place downstairs or to go. Easter celebration will then continue with another Easter worship starting at  9:00 am. This service will include celebrating our Lord's Supper too.
